The Coven of Eternal Twilight

The Coven of Eternal Twilight is a San Antonio, Texas based coven. We got together one fateful afternoon after finding out we all had one very important thing in common - our love for the Twilight Saga.

Brief History of My Coven: My self and My family moved to Texas not so long ago. My family and I were doing a bit of book shopping at the local Book store. I was introduce to Twilight by my niece, she had loaned me her copy, but as I started to read Twilight I became infatuated with the story.... in this case I was shopping for the Hardback cover of Twilight , New Moon and Eclipse. There we were attended by this very eccentric young lady. She immediately recognized the book we were purchasing and said "Oh my god! You read Twilight?!" ... I respond with a HECK YES! answer and then we both said at the same time.. "TEAM VAMPIRE OR WEREWOLF", no thought there - I said TEAM VAMPIRE!!! as well as she. We started to share are interests in the book and I told her that I was really egger to find other people who are a passionate about the book as I was and start a book club. Her eyes glowed when she heard that and we then exchanged contact info and made arrangements to start the book club that the local coffee shop at the book store. As I walked out of the store, I just realized that I just started a book club with someone I just met but just for the simple fact that we connected though our interest in Twilight. It felt right and I was completely looking forward for our first meeting. From then on, as the first Book Club session was scheduled, Jazz (aka Laura), started to Bring some friends and from then on we formed not just a book club, but a full fledged coven! Take in mind, I always had a passion for vampires. I've found them very fascinating ever since before Twilight... one of the many reasons I started to read the book. A story about a handsome vampire who meets a simple lovely human.... the word vampire got my attention . But now, till this day, I am still passionate about vampires- and even more- with the Twilight Saga. My Coven and I started a network to meet other Twilighters and talk Twilight. In fact, I think of it as a whole new language. Well, to make this long story short, I am happy to have met a wonderful group of people to start a Coven with. This Is my story, this is my bit of Twilight History. Oh, you might wonder why I was Chosen to be Dr. Cullen in the Group; Well for one, I work in the Medical field, two, I came one day to a group meeting in my scrubs and everyone just smiled at me. Apparently, at this meeting we were assigned characters based on our personalitie.  They were already thinking that I should be Dr. Cullen because I have that dad personality, so when they saw me in my scrubs, they said CARLISLE! for sure! I was honored to be Carlisle Cullen I wouldn’t change it for the world.

Coven: The Coven of Eternal Twilight

Brief History of My Coven: I was brought in to the Coven By Carlisle (*Jackie). It was something new and I love the fact that it was Vampire related. I started to read Twilight and was immediately drawn to Edward Cullen his character was something mysterious and beautiful, since Carl side I am going to the book store I took the opportunity to join Carl. I was with Carl that afternoon, when we met the Book store Clerk at the register. I ask what was the discussion about with the girl at the register Carl said that we just started a book club.... I was happy to hear that we weren't the only ones with that same strong Interested for Twilight. Since then I seen the Coven grow, One member at a time. It was like watching a family grow. I am glad to be apart of this, I can look back in the near future and smile at everything I seen an been apart of.
Why was I chosen to be Esme: First of All I am always with Carlisle (*Jackie). Second, The Coven chose the character based on my personality and I accepted with no hesitations. Plus me and Carl are the Eldest of the Group. So I guess you can say we are the parent figures. (*smiles) And I always find my self trying to calm the coven down when there is spiff between the young ones Lol they always get into random arguments which make me raise an eyebrow and throw a pan at someone LOL. I get the Typical mom mood (*smiles), But there is no way in Hell I am driving a mini-van!

Name: Sarah F.

Character: Bella Swan
turned: Five months ago, but not truly till December 13 when Edward and the family invited me to be the new Bella.

So instead of telling you about me, I am gonna let yall in on how I got this sweet Swan gig. Like a true Bella, I was the last addition to the coven. My best friend is Jasper [Laura C.] (odd pairing, I know) and she is the one who let me borrow her Twilight books. She told me about her book club and at first I didn't get it. What's the big deal, it's just a book club? Then I met the girls and I got it right away. Never have I so quickly felt a part of something. They made me feel like family right away, especially Carl, which is to be expected.
I hope to be a good Bella, and the only Bella this coven will ever need!

Name: Erica G

Character: Edward

How I got in the Coven: Well both Mayra and Erica C were talking about Edward and Bella, of course I was lost. They said I absolutely had to read Twilight it was amazing and I would Love it. Which I ended up loving it! Then one day i checked my mail on myspace and Erica C sent me a message asking me if I was busy on that Thursday coming up. I told her I was and asked why? She told me that they meet at B&N with some other girls and talk about Twilight. I heard Twilight and automatically said I'll be there next week. And ever since then I couldn't walk away from my new found family.

Why I'm Edward: I'm not quite sure on that, my first guess would be we didn't have any guys in out group so some of us had to be the guys. Just ask everyone else why they picked Edward for me, if there is any reason to why I'm him they could tell you.

Name: Erica C.

Character: Rosalie Lillian Hale

I was born on January 14th in San Antonio, TX and reborn on April 24, 2008. My little baby sissy-poo, Renesmee (Mary) had told me about these books that where 'oh, so good' and kept telling me that i HAD to read them. Well i finally did and was hooked. Then one day my twin (but not really)- Jasper (Laura), had told me that she loved Twilight too and that she had met a couple of people at Barnes & Noble who loved the saga as well. We then formed a meeting with those she had met- Carlisle (Jackie), Alice (Angelica), & Esme (Rose)- and in the next three weeks or so, more people came. I brought my two friends- Emmett (Mayra) & Edward (Erica G.), Sarah joined us a few months later, and before we knew it, we had our own little coven.

I was chosen to be Rosalie because it fits my personality. Of course I'm not as mean as her, but i can be just a tad sassy and my coven says i depict her pretty well. I also love shopping just as much as Alice and i totally have a BMW M3 Convertible...Just kidding, i wish i did, but sadly it isn't so.
I'm so very proud to not only be a Twilighter, but to be apart of this amazing little family.

The name is MAY-ra. Cuz thats how everyone says it. 

Emmett C.

I am a 2008 Newborn, so I will stay 19 forever! YAY!

Well, anyways! You're wondering how I turned? Well, hope you have time to read!

I was on a family spring break trip in Mexico ( shout-out!) and my sister had bought a couple of books to take along and read. Well, Twilight was one of them. She had read it before I have and told me that I had to read it too. She read it in two days, and skimmed through it a couple more days afterwards. She isn't the reader type, unless she is really bored, but once I realized that it was the same book a friend's (Errca) sister (Mary) had read and claimed it was amazing I had decided that I was going to read it. It took about a day for me to finnish it, adding a couple of days for review.

I fell in love with the story and could not wait till I read the other books. At this point I kept bugging my friend Errca (aka Rosalie) to read it, little did I know that I wasn't the only one bugging her to read the book. Not only her sister Mary (aka Jane) and I (aka Emmett) were bugging her, but her friend Laura (aka Jasper) was bugging her too. Eventually she cracked and read the book. Funny thing is that she really loved it! Well, who wouldn't?

Eventually the Coven was created starting with Laura, Errca and Jackie and I was invited along to share my twihardedness (If thats what you call it?) Thats the day I became a newborn. (Yay!)

Well, as I stated before, I represent the character of Emmett. I picked Emmett cuz I think that this is a vampire that enjoys having fun. He picks on Bella whenever he has a chance, yet he knows the right time to do it. Also, I think that he is down to earth, unlike his wife Rosalie who is somewhat conceited. Their love is so strong it overlooks each other's faults. I'm sure that sometimes even Rosalie gets frustrated with Emmett, but they balance each other out pretty good. His character is so complex, I wish I knew more about him. Oh, and he is described to look like a giant grizzly. Who wouldn't want to be compared to a Teddy Bear? Well, thats just from my point of view.

~Year of new birth: 2008 in SATX

~How I met the coven: Jackie was with Rose and Angelica purchasing the series at my work and I told them how muched I loved the series too.  Jackie mentioned that she wanted to start a book club or something just to get with other girls who enjoy the book.  I gave her my myspace and encouraged her to meet at the B&N cafe and that I would show up.  Around the same time I found out my good friend Erica C. was in love with the books as well.  I told her about the meetings and she began showing up as well.  Erica C. then brought her two friends Erica G. and Mayra. The rest is Coven of Eternal Twilight history!!

My character: Jasper Hale. Firstly, I chose to be him after we all decided to assign characters. I think he's incredibly attractive which sort of helped my decision, plus I think since I'm a big ball of energy, I'm good at lightening the mood at our get togethers; kinda like Jasper.

Well, one day I decided to finally read the mysterious vampire book everyone was talking about. I liked that it was kinda mushy, but with some adventure in it! Haha, so i told my sissypoo, Erica (a.k.a. Rosalie) about it. She was hesitant for a while but when I told her it was a romance book, she gave in. Soon, she was more obsessed than I was, and snuck into my room anytime she finished the last book and wanted the next. Once the coven was started, I never heard the end of it about her new family. So once I met everyone for the first time, I decided it’d be fun to join in, too. I liked that I had so much in common with our dear Alice, (who is helping me write this!) and that everyone was funny and comfortable with each other, and as nerdy (jk) as me.

Why I’m Renesmee:
- I’m the smallest (seriously, shorter than Alice even!) and youngest.
- I’m close to Rosalie.
- I’m smart-ish.
- I definitely love Jacob!
